What is the Ionic Footbath?
We offer Ionic Foot Baths at our office to provide relaxation, healing of the body and promote the reduction of inflammation, metals and harmful acids that build up in the body.
What does an ionic foot bath do?
Ionic Foot bath is a foot soak that uses water charged with positive and negative ions – electrolytes – which helps draw toxins from your body out through your feet through a process of exchange between the positive and negative ions in your body, and their opposite numbers in the water.
Do ionic detox foot baths really work?
Researchers in a 2012 study took an in-depth look at the IonCleanse foot bath and found that the foot detox did nothing to reduce toxin levels in the body. They also concluded that the foot bath didn't stimulate the body to remove toxins by itself, such as through the kidneys or liver.
How often should you do an ionic foot bath?
To start with you can do the footbaths every 72 hours. After about 5-10 sessions, reduce to once a week. Then for maintenance, do it once a month.
